X-box titles in national drive to boost sales

Event organiser Virgin D3 has completed a tour of shopping centres for two Vivendi Universal video games for Microsoft’s X-Box console. The nationwide tour for the games Crash Nitrocart and Simpson’s Hit and Run aimed to get consumers to experience the games first-hand before Christmas. Game pods, plasma screens and specially designed car seats formed part of the set. “This campaign had the advantage of not having a target market and resulted in huge amounts of footfall,” said Virgin D3 events manager Antonia Voss.
