Up to 5,000 of the country's top gamers will battle it for a place in the World Cyber Games final in Los Angeles and chunk of the £21,000 prize pot.
The four day event will see more than 20km of cable connect the gamers to a combination of professional tournaments, industry exhibitions, large-scale LAN gaming and social events. A further 100,000 viewers will observe the spectacle online with many planning to come down and try their luck in the World Cyber Games UK qualifiers, exclusively being held as part of the event.
The venue will be providing catering, which will include 10,000 cans of drink and 2,500 pizzas, and accommodation throughout the event, which spreads across its 2,500sqm of indoor exhibition and event space.
Other entertainment will include an outdoor stage used for an evening performance from Radio 1 DJ Devin Griffin.
