The day's festivities will begin with a "Queen's Day" party in Trafalgar Square from midday, including Dutch food, clog making, fresh Dutch flowers, and Dutch band including Go Back to the Zoo and Postman.
For kids there will be face painting, balloon modelling and clog painting. Former pole-vaulting world champion Rens Blom will also be putting on a show.
There are also free short tours of Dutch paintings in the National Gallery at 4pm and 5pm on the day, although places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis from the Sainsbury Wing Information Desk.
The evening club night will be held at The Arches in south-east London on Friday, 156April . DJ Afrojack is scheduled to kick things off with his mix of electro and progressive house. Other Dutch DJ's on the night include Mason, Michel de Hey, Wouter de Moor, Shermanology, Groovenatics, and Carlo Gambino.
To win you free tickets to the event all you have to do is register and write below what your favourite Dutch thing is, be it clogs, Dennis Bergkamp, the fact most people think Holland and the Netherlands are the same place (Holland is actually one part of the Netherlands and not a country in itself) or whatever you can think of.
