The Scottish Winter Terrace features crafted cocktails, inventive bar bites and events including tastings, masterclasses and live music. The themed terrace, which opened on 20 November, will be in place until the 25 January next year and has been decorated with greenery evocative of a Scottish pine forest, Glenfiddich barrel furniture, twinkling lights and cosy tartan cushions and blankets.
Inside, the décor celebrates Scottish outdoor pursuits and craftsmanship and features fly fishing rods, Shetland lace, wooden quaichs and stag motifs. Guests visiting between 7pm to 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays, will be entertained with live music from a resident band.
They can also sample a range of small batch, rare and aged Glenfiddich and The Balvenie whiskies while The Rib Room bar team will also be serving up a selection of festive cocktails. Guests on the outdoor Terrace can also enjoy Cuban, New World and special collection rare cigars, which include a limited edition Glenfiddich three-part cigar which is designed to be paired with a Glenfiddich whisky flight, each section of the cigar complementing one of the whiskies as it is smoked.
Traditional Scottish dishes with a twist will also be on offer, with a menu featuring kedgeree and Arbroath smokies fish cakes with curried egg yolk dressing, haggis and lamb neck fritters with winter spiced bramble jam and black pudding scotch quail egg with homemade brown sauce.
William Grant & Sons is showcasing its ancient reserves collection through a two-week boutique pop-up taking place later this month. Glenfiddich launched a virtual reality distillery tour over the summer.
