What's on this weekend: Peroni, Hendrick's and more

Alcohol brands Peroni, Hendrick's and Campari are all involved in unique activations this weekend, meanwhile BMW is set to sponsor the London Symphony Orchestra's annual concert in Trafalgar Square.

House of Peroni

Beer brand Peroni is returning to London for an interactive and immersive experience at Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane. For 2015 the activation has been inspired by an Italian piazza and promises food and drink sessions developed by Italian chef Accursio Craparo.

The House of Peroni will also host a curated film series thanks to a joint venture with Rooftop Film Club. Ticket-holders will be offered a dish from the aperitivo menu and a complimentary Peroni Nastro Azzuro, while films on show include Io Sono L'amore and Woody Allen’s To Rome With Love.

Hendrick’s at The Waldorf Project

Experience Hendrick’s Gin in a new light via artist Sean Rogg’s latest immersive work, The Waldorf Project: Chapter Three/Futuro. 

The third installment of the project will look at the connection between object, sound and taste, and there will be a focus on the process of micro-distillery. It will include a liquid five-course menu, where Hendrick’s Gin will be front and centre.

When: 14-16 May, with two sittings per night - 6.30pm and 9pm

BMW LSO Open Air Classics

Auto brand BMW is sponsoring the London Symphony Orchestra’s (LSO) fourth annual concert, which aims to make live orchestral performances more accessible to everyone. The orchestra will be joined by violinist Nicola Benedetti, who will perform movements from Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No 1.

Presenter Paul Rissman will be on hand on the day to guide the audience through the programme. Large screens across the square will allow guests to see the action from all angles.

Campari Red Night District

Spirit brand Campari launches its latest campaign, Campari Red Night District on Saturday (16 May) and it will run through until 10 June.

The campaign, which celebrates the brand’s 150-year heritage and is the work of agency Field Communications, spans two east London venues. The Hoxton Gallery will host an art exhibition that documents Campari’s history, and guests will be ablffe to sip on Campari and tonic cocktails as well as Negronis.

Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes has been redesigned to reflect the era of artwork that the brand is most well known for, and it will serve a menu of classic Campari cocktails including the Americano and Negroni Sbagliato.
