Whalefest has been an annual event in Brighton since 2011 and this year it attracted more than 10,000 visitors and speakers included Gok Wan, Steve Backshall and Miranda Krestovnikoff. The event is well known for its interactive family content, elements which will be brought to life in London. WhaleFest will return to The Brighton Centre from 14-15 March 2015.

The Telegraph Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show takes place alongside The London Bike Show and the Triathlon Show: London, with the London International Dive Show also taking place from 14-15 February. In 2014 the event attracted more than 45,289 visitors and organisers are confident of attracting over 55,000 in 2015.

Steve Clark, group show director at Telegraph Events, said: "When we first heard about Whalefest we were both impressed and excited. We’re delighted to add this amazing new content to the event. It will be a real draw to our visitors giving them a great insight into these magical creatures.

Ian Rowlands, managing director at Whalefest, added: "Whether you want to go see, go save, or simply marvel at whales and dolphins, Whalefest London Pop-Up will fire you up. Just ahead of spring and summer, our life-sized displays and activities will let you know where to see them and how to protect them, plus remind you of their power to inspire."
