WH Smith holds team day out

WH Smith has run a day of team-building activities for its

marketing agencies. The March event aimed to 'inform and inspire

creative developments for the future'. It was designed by JollySerious

Events.



A group of 30 people from five agencies took part in the activities

which involved travelling around Bristol completing tasks. A cafe in the

Bristol docks provided the central venue.



'We wanted to get them thinking along the same line and get cohesion

among the group,' said JollySerious Events marketing manager Nicky

Ferry.



'We wanted to stimulate them and make it thought-provoking.'



Participants were provided with notebooks and given a set of tasks,

which included looking for certain sights of the city. They also had to

compose limericks and poems.
