Westfield to deliver multi-sensory 'indulgent' food experience

Westfield has teamed up with sensory design and branding agency Condiment Junkie to deliver a one-off food experience that focuses on unique and unusual dishes.

Indulgence 2016 will take place at Westfield London over three days from 19 February, meanwhile Westfield Stratford will host the experience from 26-28 February.

Visitors to both centres will be invited to explore four rooms, each of which will feature a different theme. 

Participants can expect to encounter a range of unique tastes and flavours, including those that are rare, intense, rich, indulgent, and even scent-filled. The idea is that people will be able to sample treats from around the world. 

The event forms part of Westfield's broader Destination Food campaign, which encourages people to celebrate the joy of eating and indulge themselves. 

Westfield similarly enlisted Condiment Junkie at the beginning of 2015 to devise a unique, multi-sensory experience for shoppers. The 12-minute Tongue Twister pop-up experience featured four rooms that sought to heighten the different senses.
