The new company has been formed by partners Nick Presley, former creative director and managing partner of Triangle Group, Karen Evans, ex-managing partner of Closer, and Bharat Parmar, former business director at Claydon Heeley Jones Mason.
"We want to bring experiential marketing to the heart of the total offer and we've found that clients are now willing to invest in this," said Parmar. "We know the power of experiential marketing and its effect on sales and brand appreciation. We're bringing a new angle to customer captivation."
The launch of Woo is part of WCRS Group's strategy to create an integrated group of top-class agency brands that cover a broad cross-section of marketing disciplines. Its existing branches offer advertising, communications planning, brand consultancy, digital, direct marketing and branded entertainment.
"We have sought out the very best people in promotional marketing and not only have we put together a great team of talented individuals but they've developed a unique proposition for a market that is crying out for real innovation," said Stephen Woodford, WCRS Group chief executive.
Woo will be offering its services independently of the larger group as well as working alongside integrated WCRS campaigns.
"We have the best of both worlds, we are very much autonomous but still receive referrals from the group," added Parmar.
