Donohue will be responsible for pushing digital and technology through all of Wasserman’s projects. The agency stated the appointment represents its commitment to ensuring digital is driven into every aspect of its creative business.
The new hire joins directly from RMA Consulting, where he was delivery director. He has spent a total of 17 years in the digital realm working for the likes of Oglivy & Mather, where he held the position of integrated delivery director, and M&C Saatchi.
Donohue will report directly into Wasserman’s managing directors – Paul Saville and Cris Cicirello.
Saville said: "Paul is a digital native who has been around from the dotcom era. He has a fantastic track record for consistently innovating, inspiring teams and producing award-winning work. He will play a key role in ensuring we continue to challenge ourselves and consistently push the boundaries of what we do."
Donohue added: "I am really excited that the industry is now in a place where digital is no longer constricted to a screen and can truly be brought to life through physical experiences. Being with an agency that has spearheaded the digital experiential industry with the ambitions to push boundaries even further is a place I am really looking forward to being a part of."
