The hotel will serve up a range of Dutch-inspired food and beverage offerings throughout the two weeks, including a a one-off cocktail menu comprising Dutch liqueurs and flavours, and concoctions such as the Dutch Courage Cocktail.
On the food front, guests will be able to choose from dishes including deep fried gouda parcels, a popular Dutch snack known as short rib bitterballen, as well as patatje oorlog, or ‘war fries’.
The W London's public areas will be transformed to offer guests a taste of the Dutch capital, with references to the city’s canals, bicycles and windmills to be evident throughout.
There will be an ‘IWamsterdam’ sign in the lobby and key Amsterdam sights will line the W Lounge walls, meanwhile Deep House Amsterdam will deliver DJ sets on Friday and Saturday evening (9-10 October), with those who present a Dutch passport to receive their first drink free of charge.
The hotel is also offering screenings of cult Dutch films, and Bobbin Dutch style bicycles will be available for hire from the hotel during the period.
