Visit London Awards shortlist announced

The Science Museum, The O2 and the Notting Hill Carnival have been shortlisted for this year's Visit London Awards.

Celebrating the best of London's visitor offerings - including entertainment and cultural events - the ceremony will be held at the Royal Albert Hall on 27 November and comprises 14 judged categories as well as five "People's Choice" awards, voted for by Londoners throughout October and November.

"We have received a record number of entries of the highest calibre and the short-listing process was tough," said Visit London chief executive James Bidwell. "I congratulate the finalists and wish them the best of luck on Awards night."
