Loxton will oversee marketing strategy and brand-building activity for the venue’s event spaces, wine tour and restaurants.
She was head of marketing at Grandstand Group where she handled PR and marketing for Horse of the Year Show, as well as overseeing the group’s other events.
The news follows the appointment of Lucy Haines, former operations director of Compass Group, as Vinopolis’s new managing director last week.
Haines said she was pleased to welcome Loxton to Vinopolis "as all eyes turn to London for 2012".
She added: "[Loxton’s] varied experience and wealth of knowledge will give us the tools needed to raise the profile of the venue and our excellent facilities with both consumer and corporate clients."
