Agency Cake Live was behind the event marking Neighbours' move from BBC1 to Five on 7 February. The occasion was celebrated by a 300-strong brass band playing the programme's theme tune in Trafalgar Square, led by much-loved character Harold Bishop. Blogger James says: "As I kicked and bit my way to the front of the orchestra, congregated beautifully on the steps, the sight of Harold in the flesh made the formation complete."

Events Industry Alliance chief executive Trevor Foley answers a Q&A for The Marketing Blog. Foley says if he could be an animal he would be a rhinoceros as he's thick skinned, and if he could be in any other profession he would be FIFA president, to "sort out the mess that professional football has become. Video evidence would be introduced immediately to assist referees and stop players cheating."

E4 held a nationwide series of live events in February (see Campaign, p29) to promote series two of Skins. Judging from the pictures on, Bebo and My Space, the parties were a riotous success. One blogger on says: "Motion last Friday in Bristol was amazing. All the cast are a down-to-earth lot and the crowd was brilliant. As Skins is set in Bristol I think these parties should be a regular occurrence."
