Victoria Warehouse expands events team

Manchester-based events space Victoria Warehouse has appointed Daniel Thorpe as its new venue operations manager, as well as two new sales managers.

Thorpe has 10 years of industry experience, where he has worked within hotels, the sporting arena and outside catering, as well as at events with brands including P&O Cruises. He was most recently employed as conference and events manager at Manchester United.

New sales manager Jennifer Panton has more than 10 years of industry experience, having worked within her own events business as well as at De Vere Hotels. Sales manager Kayleigh Brindle has worked at De Vere Whites Hotel and previously headed up conference and incentive sales at Rocco Forte Hotels.

The three new recruits will join Faye Miller, who has spent the last three years establishing the venue’s corporate sales function.

James Cohen, owner of Victoria Warehouse, said: "The expansion of our team is representative of our significant success in 2014 and will better prepare us for the year ahead."

Victoria Warehouse has worked with a number of high profile brands including Audi, Toyota, GHD, Manchester United and New Look.
