Northern Electric and Gas has appointed PMI to handle its field marketing activity. It comes as the company continues its major marketing campaign, which concludes at the end of the year. It aims to raise brand awareness outside its traditional North East and North Yorkshire areas.
The field marketing campaign includes a roadshow that aims to tell the story of energy through the ages. A single-decker bus will tour venues including Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Alton Towers. A mobile exhibition unit will also appear at shopping centres and railway concourses throughout the north and north-west of the country.
'We are receiving very positive feedback - from the public and our own energy advisors who are working alongside PMI's field staff,' said Northern Electric and Gas national sales manager Brian Jackson.
