Dubai-based agency HQ Creative brought in UK suppliers to deliver the opening ceremony for football’s 18th Arabian Gulf Cup.

Dubai-based agency HQ Creative brought in UK suppliers to deliver the opening ceremony for football’s 18th Arabian Gulf Cup.

HQ Creative production director Jo Marshall and project manager Jo MacKay used Stage One to fly performers and provide rigging, and ESS to supply towers, steel and additional rigging.

HQ Creative collaborated with another Dubai-based agency, Done Events. The Gulf Cup’s organising committee gave the team 43 days to produce the show, which took place at the Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi on 17 January.
