Customers will be able to request the treats between the hours of 11am and 7pm by opening the Uber or UberEATS app, setting their location and requesting ‘Ice Cream’. The treats will then be hand-delivered by Uber drivers.

The brand has partnered with premium popsicle brand Pops to provide four different flavours.

Users will be encouraged to share their experiences using the hashtag #UberIceCream.

The offer will only be available in the following 17 cities: London, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Newcastle, Sheffield, Bristol, Merseyside, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Portsmouth, Leicester, Belfast, Cardiff, Southampton or Windsor.

Uber launched its #UberIceCream campaign in July and delivered free Magnum ice creams to users in more than 400 cities across Europe.

On Twitter, users have expressed their disappointment that Uber will be delivering ice lollies, despite continuing to use its #UberIceCream hashtag.

Earlier this year, UberComedy saw the brand deliver one-off in-car comedy gigs for customers.
