The three-day Video Forum takes place at Earls Court 2 during Confex’s planned 2008 tenancy, from 12-14 February. The two-day TFM&A will move from its current Olympia home and join the Video Forum in Earl’s Court 2 for the first time from 12-13 February.
CMPi hopes the decision will create a crossover for visitors and boost attendance to both its shows. Last month TFM&A had an attendance of 5,591, of which around 4,391 were visitors (pre-audit). The Video Forum attracts around 8,500 attendees each year.
Confex event director Duncan Reid said: “TFM&A is a successful marketing show that is expanding. It had outgrown its present space and we’re pleased that it has chosen to move to Earls Court at the same time as us. Although at the time we were not actively seeking a show to co-locate with, it makes sense to do it. It works because the live events industry is always looking for ways to break into the mainstream marketing sector.”
Simon Mills, event director for TFM&A, added: “The move to Earls Court 2 will benefit both visitors and exhibitors alike, in terms of ease of getting to the venue, on-site logistics, and fulfilling our ambitious growth plans for this market-leading event. The co-location with Confex and the Video Forum will maximise the number of decision-makers attending the show.”
