Playhouse Disney Channel took to the stage for a six-week promotional tour of UK shopping centres, which ended this month.

Playhouse Disney Channel took to the stage for a six-week promotional tour of UK shopping centres, which ended this month. Eye Design created a smaller, lightweight version of the channel’s TV set for the free show, which was performed three times daily. The set featured an LED screen and ‘Book of Pooh’ section. Children were able to take part in interactive scenarios on the stage. Avesco Group Companies, Creative Technology and Dimension Audio contributed to the event, which was organised by Disney special events director Kathleen Gearhart and production manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa Jonathan Scott. The channel plans to tour Europe with shows put on to coincide with the channel’s launch in each country.
