Truckfest: in pictures

The number of lorries on UK roads may have fallen dramatically within the past 12 months, but this didn't stop 120,000 people turning out for this year's Bank Holiday Truckfest at the East of England Showground.

More than 550 vehicles entered the event, which included displays of some of the finest Super Trucks from the UK, Ireland, France, Holland and Germany,

Monster Trucks' Bigfoot 17, Slingshot and Thunderbolt performed in the main arena, while Eagles Tribute Band the Illegal Eagles played to 3,500 people on the Sunday.

"This is our 26th year here and, as ever, the event was superb. Early indications show we were up on visitor numbers," said Truckfest event director Jason Lunn.
