The marketplace promises to be much like the title’s Portuguese installation, Time Out Mercado de Ribeira. Opened in 2010, the Lisbon attraction is home to a wide range of the city’s fruit and drink specialists.
On its blog, Time Out London stated that the British edition will be "packed to the rafters with the city’s best food, booze, art and cool cultural shenanigans." The brand has not confirmed where the mega market will be located.
Time Out New York will also be hosting a market in 2018.
Abby Dakin, events manager at Time Out, told Event at yesterday’s (6 July) Sustainable Events Summit (SES): "Events are very new for us at Time Out. We’re used to reporting what’s happening and now we’re doing more of it ourselves.
"We’ve been in conversation with our readers, making sure we’re delivering the kind of events that they expect."
