NME and Eskimo Dance host Boxpark Croydon festival

Music magazine NME and grime promoter Eskimo Dance have teamed up with Boxpark Croydon to stage a two-day music festival on the 29-30 October. Eskimo Dance take charge of the Saturday line-up, with grime artists like Wiley, Ghetts, Novelist and Elf Kid with more acts still to be confirmed. NME celebrate the best of upcoming talent on the Sunday with artists like A2, Alfa Mist, Barney Artist, Club Kuru, Nova Twins and Tailr.Mde.Lvn.

Habitat launch London's first light club

Household furnishing retailer Habitat will be transforming its central London store into a 'light club' for one night only on 27 October. In celebration of the retailer's new AW16 lighting collection, there will be dynamic lighting display, a DJ set from Crucial & Fresh and cocktails by London pop-up chef Jimmy Garcia. Lighting designs will also be on offer on the night, with discounts on selected designs available to guests. Entry will be free, and will include drinks and canapés.

Oxfam's Halloween-themed pop-up

Charity Oxfam is taking to Boxpark, Shoreditch to sell donated clothes and accessories in the run up to Halloween. The aim is to raise money for the charity and is cause - to create lasting solutions to the injustice of poverty. The range on offer will include vintage wedding gowns, lace-trimmed blouses and wool suit blazers, all inspired by Victoriana and Gothic fashion to celebrate the Halloween season.
