Three experiential events to watch next week

Uber's pop-up pool party

Uber is seeing out the summer out in style with a pop-up pool-themed party to highlight its ride-sharing service. The activation, implemented by agency Pretty Green, highlights the UberPool service, which enables people to share rides and split the cost of their trip with another Uber rider headed in the same direction. Guests will be treated to an area with inflatable balls and deck chairs.

Bombay Sapphire masterclasses

Bombay Sapphire has teamed up with Time Out to present a series of lectures by some of London's most enlightened citizens, alongside gin masterclasses. The event will feature a secret line-up of industry experts speaking about art and artistry from a range of perspectives and revolving around the idea of experience over material possessions, with visitors receiving gin cocktails.

When 13 and 15 September 

Wargaming's First World War activation

Online game developer Wargaming is to celebrate '100 Years of Tanks' in remembrance of the Mark I, the first tank to hit the battlefield on September 15, 1916 during the First World War. A Mark IV replica, created for Steven Spielberg’s movie War Horse, will be showcased at the event, just as it was 100 years ago with Mark I. Attendees will be able to watch Mark I come to life on the streets with an augmented reality experience.
