Next week will see experiential activity from the likes of Ikea, Hunter and Lexus.

Ikea Swedish houseboat

Ikea’s Swedish houseboat, which celebrates the run up to its new store opening in Reading, will be sailing down the Thames offering Swedish food and drink at its stops. The boat features a sundeck area, an ‘exhibition style’ space showcasing Ikea products and a ‘secret snug’ for a more cosy indoor experience.

Hunter launches world's smallest festival

Wellington boot brand Hunter has created the world's smallest festival, within a portable toilet, at its Regent Street store. The ‘tardis-like’ experience promises a ‘site’ complete with grass, mud and live music. Following its stint at the London store, until the end of June, it will then travel throughout the UK.

Lexus at the BBC Good Food Show Summer

Automotive brand Lexus is to bring food based activities to the show

Lexus has devised a series of food masterclasses which will be held at the BBC Good Food Show, as part of its sponsorship of the event. Kicking off at the NEC in Birmingham next Thursday (16 June), ‘Discover and Learn’ classes on cupcake decorating, sushi making and ‘five senses tasting’ sessions will take place.
