Ypioca AbraCachaca pop-up

Brazilian cachaca brand Ypioca has teamed up with Clerkenwell gastropub, The Well, to transform its underground bar into an exotic Brazilian beach pop-up party, AbraCachaca. Guests can enjoy street food-inspired bar snacks, Latin American beats and Ypioca cocktails. The space is also available for private hire.

Lipton Ice Tea’s Daybreaker events

From 7-9am this Friday, Lipton Ice Tea’s Daybreaker event series will kick off with an acoustic set featuring Hudson Taylor at the Sky Garden on Fenchurch Street. Future events as part of the series include a private viewing and fashion talk at the V&A’s McQueen exhibition and a rooftop cinema screening. The most notable has to be an 100m slip and slide experience, taking place from 19-20 June near King’s Cross Station.

Southbank Centre's Festival of Love

Southbank Centre's annual summer festival opens this Saturday (6 June) with love-themed installations, performances, music, film, dance, themed weekends and free events, and it runs until 31 August. Highlights include the Arcadia pavilion, made from jewel-coloured plastic strips that evoke the stained glass windows of a cathedral and is intended as a space for peace, love and contemplation; Love by the Yarn, a display of vibrant and sensuous artworks made from wool that invites visitors to knit and add to it; plus the centre’s urban Love Beach.
