Waitrose's new cookery school in London's King's Cross is teaming up with Juliet Sear, baker and author of Cakeology, to host a free Ugly Jumper, Mittens and Hat Gingerbread Workshop.
From 12.30-2pm attendees will have the chance to decorate their own Argyle patterned jumper, mittens and gingerbread cookies, with the help of Sear.
BFI DVD in partnership with the Underground Film Club is set to host a lunch time screening of the aptly named 1960s film, Lunch Break. Attendees will receive free popcorn, and hot dogs by RockaDollar Dogs will be available to purchase.
Neal’s Yard Remedies in Covent Garden is hosting a one-hour Save Our Skin Winter workshop, where participants will learn to create their own bath and facial oils under the guidance of aromatherapist, Ines Willis.
The brand is also offering free 10-minute express treatments across its stores between 12-2pm, depending on availability.
The Hedonist Project’s Bruce Lerman, who is set to open a new bar in Leeds with Diageo with his business partners at the end of the month, is hosting a cocktail masterclass at The Faversham’s pop-up Winter Lodge.
Using seasonal spirits and ingredients, Lerman will teach participants how to create warming cocktails for the festive season.
Stylist's initiative, which was first launched in July when the publication partnered with the likes of John Lewis and Pret A Manger, aims to encourage Brits to take a break from their work and enjoy the lunch they deserve.
Stylist is encouraging participants to post their experiences to social media using the hashtag #ReclaimYourLunchBreak.
