The London Stock Exchange has thrown open its doors to event planners for a limited period until it moves to new headquarters next year. Event planners are being offered a range of packages that include private dining on the 23rd floor of the Exchange Tower, rooftop tours with views of the City and celebrity speakers. A spokesman for the Exchange events team said: “The rooftop viewing gall-ery offers spectacular views of many of London’s landmarks including Tower Bridge, Big Ben and the London Eye. Whether the aim is to entertain in style or provide a more informative agenda, we are able to offer a range of bespoke packages at this historic location.” The Stock Exchange includes television studios that are being made available for team-building sessions. The event team can also arrange guided walks around the City. Economic development agency City Action is the first confirmed event to take place at the Stock Exchange. It will use the venue’s dining facilities on 20 June. The 200-year-old trading centre is moving from Old Broad Street in the heart of the City to new premises next to St Paul’s Cathedral in the first half of next year.
