It comes almost one year after the news of a sale was announced by De Veres Group, which consists of more than 20 properties.
The £230m-plus deal secured with the US-based investment firm includes venues mostly in and around London, such as Wokefield Park, Horsley Park and Latimer Place.
Tony Dangerfield, chief executive of De Vere Venues, said: "We are delighted to confirm the acquisition of De Vere Venues by Starwood Capital Group.
"In Starwood, we have found a leading global investor that understands our dynamic business and is excited about what we have achieved."
