Canon unveiled a range of products at the recent Focus Show at the
NEC. The centrepiece was a stand featuring a huge globe built from
aluminium trussing system OPTI Trilite.
The Focus Show brings together photographers and suppliers from the UK
and is an annual showcase for products and services in Europe.
Canon's stand was designed and built by Creative Concepts. Managing
director Paul Harber said: 'We always try to do something bigger and
better every year for Canon's Focus stand. This year we decided the
central feature would be an enormous globe.'
The Canon stand also featured in-store display units designed and built
by Creative Concepts to demonstrate Canon's latest line in digital
There were also individual product display areas to demonstrate the
different product groups. The objective of the stand was to promote
digital technology and the integration of all Canon's products. The
stand also included a raised walkway to display the long lens apparatus
which was elevated over the stand. Strong graphics on the stand depicted
lifestyle shots of people using Canon products.
Harber added: 'We like to design our stands to tie in with the products
being launched, the promotional units or corporate literature. We also
like adventurous shapes so we've spent some time dreaming up new ways of
using OPTI Trilite and building up a stock of sections that allow us to
put our designs into practice.'
