Coined Find Your State of Play, the campaign is designed to encourage Brits to visit the USA. The tour's VR headsets offer 360-degree views of cities including San Francisco and Los Angeles.
The blue coloured double-decker bus also operates as a pop-up shop, where passers-by can take advantage of tour specials including ‘book now, play later’ holidays and campervan deals.
Travel experts will be on hand throughout the tour to offer travel advice and inspiration, and they will hand out scratch cards that include prizes such as £1,000 towards a USA road trip and £25 off flights to the USA.
The lower level of the bus is complete with a lounge area that serves free coffee, and deckchairs are positioned outside.
The tour kicked off in Newcastle on Wednesday (24 June) and it will travel to Bristol, Nottingham, Birmingham, Brighton, Greenhithe, Swansea, Cardiff and London.
