Hundred of activists, said to be inspired by the Occupy Wall Street movement in New York, have been camping around the building since last Saturday (15 October).
St Paul’s Cathedral dean the Right Reverend Graeme Knowles said on Wednesday that the situation posed a "risk to the life of the cathedral" and it could be forced to close.
The four event spaces at St Paul’s host dinners for up to 250 and receptions for up to 350 as well as daytime conferences and lunches.
St Paul’s press officer Hannah Talbot told Event: "It hasn’t affected our events, and at present everything is going ahead."
She added: "The dean and chapter are monitoring the situation on an hourly basis and working with all the authorities. There are lots of separate entrances to the catherdral so we’re quite flexible in that way."
Dean Knowles will give an update on the situation today at 2.30pm.
