Clarion Events has launched Top Drawer Spring in a bid to build on
the success of its summer and autumn shows.
The fair, scheduled for early in 2002, will be positioned as the first
major design-led gift and home accessory event of the year. A Mori
survey at Top Drawer Autumn 2000 highlighted the gap in the market, with
60% of buyers stating they would be keen to visit a January show.
Clarion show director Sue Saint said: 'Mulhouse Design, Fusion,
Vincents, Terence Moore and B&N London have already committed before the
official launch. Our visitor research has shown that buyers are
interested in a focused show as early as possible in the new year.'
