An initial six-week activity kicked off on 28 February at Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Asda. Splenda marketing manager Abigail Storms said: “It was more of a roadshow than sampling as shoppers entered an event space featuring a plasma screen with a video of Antony Worrall Thompson cooking recipes with Splenda.”

The roadshow will visit 13 events such as the BBC Good Food Summer Festival at the NEC and the National Amateur Gardening Show at the Bath and West Showground.
