Agency Smyle helped the Frank Lampard Teenage Cancer Trust raise more than £500,000 by staging a charity fundraiser on behalf of the Chelsea footballer and clothing entrepreneur Karen Millen in late November. The event at Old Billingsgate was themed as a winter wonderland and featured an interactive floor designed as a frozen lake that visually cracked when walked upon. A chill-out igloo structure with an ice-bar completed the look of the reception area, and the main dining area had white tables with towering table centres. UB40 played to 950 guests and an auction featured gifts donated by Chelsea and Arsenal football clubs, as well as guitars donated by The Rolling Stones, Sting and Pete Townshend.
