Smyle secures birthday brief for Rolls Royce

Agency Smyle has pipped agency TRO to the contract to stage events to celebrate Rolls-Royce's centenary.

Details of the contract, which includes at least one international dealer meeting, are being kept firmly under wraps but activity is believed to feature as part of the luxury car company's presence at the 2004 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Rolls-Royce will have a strong presence at the three-day Sussex festival, which takes place from 25-27 June around the theme Young Chargers, Old Masters.

The manufacturer has hired designer Gerry Judah to create a sculpture in front of Goodwood House. Gathered around the sculpture will be more than 30 historic Rolls-Royce vehicles.
