Moving Venue by Smart will keep its brand identity and remain as a separate trading division.
The team structure, offices and logistic services at Moving Venue will be un-affected by the purchase and the business will continue to be overseen and directed for a minimum of three years by founder and managing director, Richard Beggs.
The deal will mean that clients of Moving Venue will be able to benefit from the range of event services provided by Smart Group including Christmas Party venues, corporate hospitality services and a creative event design service.
The acquisition will see Smart Group employ a team of more than 50 staff at its Manchester and London offices, with a combined turnover on live events, catering, corporate hospitality and Christmas parties in excess of £20m. The acquisition will create a catering division with a combined turnover in excess of £12m a year.
