Experiential marketing firm RPM has already produced a series of regional Skyride events on behalf of the brand and British Cycling, attracting more than 41,000 cyclists so far.

This weekend's Mayor of London event will give thousands more cyclists the opportunity to pedal through some of the capital's most famous streets, while taking in landmarks like Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square.

There will also be a wide range of entertainment and activities going on along the 15km route, from BMX and mountain bike demonstrations to celebrity appearances and bib signings.

RPM is hoping to build on the results of last year's Freewheel event, which attacted more than 50,000 cyclists to the capital.

Photos from The Mayor of London's Skyride will be available to download from 9am on 21 September at www.goskyride.com.
