To promote the launch of Sky's new mobile network, Sky Mobile, the brand has created activations at London’s Waterloo, Victoria and Liverpool Street stations, which runs from 31 March to 7 April.
Staff are handing out Sky Mobile-branded phone cases and people are encouraged to take a selfie with their new phone case in one of the 'Photo Pods' on the stand, which have been designed and created by marketing and communications agency Tpf. The pods have a bespoke algorithm that will randomly select winners on the spot.
Phone cases are also being handed out by roaming staff visiting businesses in London during the eight-day campaign.
The packaging containing the phone cases contains messaging about Sky Mobile's Swap service, which allows customers to upgrade their handset during their contract, rather than having to wait until their contract ends. The service is free of charges - no upgrade fees, no admin charges and delivered for free.
Tpf has managed the project from conceptualisation through to on-the-day organisation, planning the logistics of activity running across 96 hours, with more than 2,000 prizes to be won, including iPhones, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edges, Sky Q Packages and Sky Mobile sweets.
