The event, which this year is being presented for the first time by Wrigleys brand Skittles, features an island vacation-themed activation, called the Tropical Tour.
The experience aims to replicate an island holiday, to create a vibe inspired by music and fun. The Tropicolor rainbow Color Zone enables runners to run through five different colour zones. At the Tropicolor Rainbow colour zone, runners will be bathed in a tropical array of colours as they make their way toward the finish line. They will also receive a limited edition Tropicolor t-shirt, Tropicolor headband and fun tattoos.
The event has so far held editions in London, Manchester and Glasgow, with the Birmingham one taking place this weekend (20 August). A further London event will be held at the O2 on 4 September, with the final Color Run taking place in Brighton on 17 September. Children's charity NSPCC is the event's official charity partner.
