The #StudioOutTheBox experience aims to create an interactive world of rest and give people the chance to test mattresses, and is being held until tomorrow, 3 December, in Shoreditch, London.
Studio by Silentnight invites visitors to swap their shoes for slippers and sink into an immersive walk through experience. Those trying the experience can float through day to night, to dreamscape and back again whilst the interactive installation speeds time up from 24 hours to 24 minutes, and then invites visitors to re-enter the real world.
Discover a topsy-turvy dream world and take a ‘selfie with a Studio’ to enter the 'Be in Bed’ competition to win a free mattress and a 'dreamy glamping' experience. Visitors can also try the Studio Interactive Comfort Wall, design their dream sleep environment with the help of a studio visualiser, learn about sleep and dreams with experts, enter The Dreamery for a sensory adventure and relax and enjoy a spot of cloud gazing or a meditation.
Breakfast tasting platters are also on offer in the Studio kitchen and visitors can get creative with cardboard-art workshops and also pick up a free Studio goodie bag.
The pop-up launched on 24 November and was held for three days in Mayfair before moving to the Shoreditch location. There are plans to showcase the experience in Leeds next year.
US mattress start-up Casper is running a pop-up aimed at helping individuals to reenergise and recharge. Earlier this year, mattress brand Eve launched The Nap Station, providing nap pods for tired workers.
