Showsec will be in charge of the front of house operation at the 12,500-capacity venue from 1 March. The company currently works with a number of UK arenas in Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Newcastle, Cardiff and Aberdeen.
The news comes a month after Showsec restructured its London operations as a result of increased business in the region. Wembley Arena will fall under the jurisdiction of Louise Stockden, the newly appointed area manager for Greater London.
Simon Battersby, director at Showsec, said: "This is a fantastic achievement for the company which underlines the fact that we are number one when it comes to event and venue security. We have run the backstage security at Wembley Arena for many years now, so we are delighted that we have been handed this opportunity to take on a more prominent role."
John Drury, general manager of Wembley Arena, added: "We have enjoyed an excellent working relationship with Showsec backstage here. We look forward to building on that relationship front of house where we expect to see a continued rise in customer compliments for our FOH team."
