The company’s Birmingham department store will deliver a series of art, fashion, beauty and food related events, as well as host live music performances throughout the four days.
Selfridges has also teamed up with the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London: Off Site (ICA) space to create a pop-up that will feature art installations, food, drink and music.
Key events on the festival calendar include a Michelin-star dining experience with chef Anthony Demetre in partnership with Moët & Chandon. Guests will enjoy a four-course meal within The Balcony area of the store, with dishes to be paired with champagne.
Those who attend the store's Beauty From Within event will receive pampering treatments and entertainment alongside a live DJ set, meanwhile Charlotte Tilbury’s make-up artists will be offering complimentary ‘Quick Trick’ makeovers from Tilbury Taxis at Rotunda Square, Bullring.
Jimmy Choo’s Cinderella-inspired glass slipper shoe, of which there are only a handful in the world, will be available for viewing at Selfridges throughout Live + Loud. The company has partnered with Punch Records to showcase emerging local talent including MC RoxXxan, Call Me Unique and Namiwa Jazz, who will perform live sets in-store.
The brand has secured British soul singer Jacob Banks as the headline act, who will take part in a Q&A prior to his performance.
Birmingham City University’s School Of Art will present a programme of performances, installations and research projects for shoppers on level one of the store, and Birmingham’s The Art Room will host a series of interactive art workshops.
Some events are ticketed, meanwhile others are walk-in.
