Each point where the 7x3m smartphone model will stop has been decided via a public poll to find the 20 UK views that give Britons the most pleasure. The giant phone will then showcase the views via the new Infinity Display screen and bezel-less design, which forms a continuous surface with no buttons or harsh angles.
The tour will feature an entirely see-through screen with an invisibly suspended ‘Play’ button, aiming to create an illusion of the infinity display. Samsung will be touring the installation throughout April and May, and the brand has already visited locations including St Ives, Stonehenge, Bournemouth and London.
The activation has been delivered by creative agency Taylor Herring.
This summer, Samsung will open its latest experience store in Toronto, Canada, which promises to be the brand's most immersive offering to date. In December, the brand marked the launch of the Gear S3 smart watch with a festive-themed global choir.
