The roadshow, which kicks off this weekend in Glasgow (9-10 June), will encourage the public to ‘Back the Team’ at this summer’s Olympic Games.
The events will feature will discussions led by a UK athletics coach and appearances from select athletes. Several digital elements will be incorporated, including a touch-screen athletics quiz, visual content displays on TV screens and photograph opportunities.
Running until July, the roadshow will also visit Westfield Stratford shopping centre and the Metrocentre in Gateshead.
RPM ran Aviva’s Athletics Roadshow last year, which attracted around 12,000 visitors.
Dom Robertson, managing director at RPM, said: "We are thrilled to be working with Aviva for a second year to raise the profile of the Aviva GB and NI Team and to show the public that athletics can be a fun and exciting sport. We believe strongly in experiences that truly engage the public, and through its unique features the Aviva Roadshow will capture their imagination, create a path to participation and offer consumers a value exchange in order to get them behind the team."
