Phiz will offer services such as auditing compliance, trade motivation, consumer-sampling and mystery shopping. It will use RPM's field team network for this.
"Our aim is to get marketers to think about traditional field marketing in the wider context, then they will realise that it can become a much more powerful tool than purely a peripheral tactical spend," said Phiz director Simon Couch.
"Phiz wants to create insightful, strategic and engaging solutions for clients, whether they be commercial or brand focused, for a co-ordinated field team approach," he added.
Couch has worked at RPM for six years with clients such as brewer S&N UK, Tetley, Sony and Sky.
