He is reportedly taking time out before moving on to ‘new challenges’, however has confirmed he will remain in his role as chair of the CSR working group at Evcom until its AGM in 2015.

Sloan joined the company 15 years ago. He became a director in April 2013, having gained experience as production manager and head of production and artwork. RPM said he spearheaded some of the agency’s most ambitious production projects in this time.

Sloan said: "It has been an amazing journey at RPM with plenty of experiences that will stay with me forever. I leave behind some incredible projects, fantastic colleagues and great friends but the time is right to look at new opportunities."

Dom Robertson, managing director at RPM, added: "I am saddened both professionally and personally to see Rory go but recognise that the time is right for him to explore pastures new.

"Rory has been instrumental in helping RPM grow into the business it is today. He will be impossible to replace but we wish him well and know that he will always remain a good friend of the business."
