The firm has worked on the event, which celebrates the city’s maritime heritage, for the past 12 years, but this will be the first year it will manage the entire event. From 20 – 22 July Bristol’s historic harbourside and Queen Square will stage a mix of live performance, artists, musicians, dancers, circus acts, markets and street stalls.
Meanwhile, hundreds of sailing vessels, from historic ships to pleasure yachts will line the waters edge.
The event is being funded by Bristol City Council, and is expected to attract more than 200,000 visitors.
Councilor Simon Cook, Bristol’s deputy leader, said: "For thousands of local people across the city and for thousands more who come to visit, the Bristol Harbour Festival is the highlight of the city’s cultural calendar.
"Thanks to the creative talent of local musicians and performers, the festival boasts an enviable reputation for first-class entertainment and family fun. We are looking forward to working closely Richmond Event Management and celebrating the 41st Bristol Harbour Festival."
