Organised by students from the educational institute under the surpervision of the programme director and the events management lecturer, the forum aims to provide an insight into the industry's current and future trends.
Speakers confirmed for the event, which has teamed up with Event magazine as its media partner, will be representing companies such as Visit London, F1 Powerboat World Championship and the American Academy of Wedding Professionals.
To complement these there will be a number of talks and workshops – including a cookery demonstation from Brazilian celebrity chef, professor Carlos Ribeiro – while site visits will take in the event spaces of venues such as Westfield London, Merlin Entertainments London Eye, St Paul's Cathedral, Chelsea FC and the Natural History Museum.
On the evening of the second night there will be a gala dinner to raise money for the event's nominated charity, Macmillan Cancer Support. This will take place at the Hilton London Metropole on Friday 17 September and will feature celebrity guests of the charity, along with players from Chelsea FC.
The organisers hope that this forum will establish itself as an annual event.
