Event has gained access to the list of creditors left out of pocket from the collapse of the catering and management firm, headed up managing director Damian Clarkson.

Among those listed are catering and equipment hire firm Jones, which is owed more than £100,000; staffing agency Off To Work, owed just less than £21,000; and PR company Triggerfish Communications, which has been left almost £7,000 short.

Airstream Events, Chapman Taylor Catering Equipment Hire and Esprit People are also owed a combined deficit of almost £29,000.

Administrator Middleton Partners has confirmed several companies have made bids for the firm's assets, which include furniture, equipment and machinery. However, these are "subject to ongoing negotiation".

Clarkson was unavailable for comment.

Event reported in July how the catering and management firm was entering into voluntary liquidation after encountering some financial difficulty.

Messages of support came pouring in from all sectors of the industry, with one person asking: "Why should this happen to the good guys when there are so many sharks in our industry?"

Event then uncovered evidence suggesting Clarkson was doing ‘a phoenix' by setting up a new agency under the name of Red Snapper Projects.

Clarkson was quick to dismiss this, saying he would not be "rising his former company from the ashes".
